Refund Policy

This Refund Policy governs all purchases, subscriptions, and service engagements with Ecliptz Labs Private Limited. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase or entering into a service agreement. By transacting with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
01.General Policy
All sales are final unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written agreement between Ecliptz Labs Private Limited and the client.
Given the nature of our business — which involves custom software development, digital products, and intellectual work — refunds are subject to strict conditions as described in this policy. We encourage all clients to communicate concerns early so we can resolve issues proactively before escalating to a refund request.
02.Digital Products & SaaS Subscriptions
For standalone digital products, software licenses, or SaaS platform subscriptions offered by Ecliptz Labs Private Limited:
No refunds will be issued once digital access has been granted, a license key has been delivered, or a SaaS account has been activated.
Exceptions may be considered only in the following circumstances:
Technical Failure
The product is completely non-functional and cannot be accessed due to a verified issue on our end, and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe.
Duplicate Payment
You were charged more than once for the same product or subscription due to a payment processing error.
Refund requests for exceptions must be raised within 7 days of the transaction and supported with appropriate evidence.
03.Custom Development & Service Engagements
For custom software development, consulting, or project-based service engagements:
If a project has not yet commenced and no discovery, scoping, or design work has been performed, a partial refund may be considered based on the advance paid.
If work has begun, refunds are prorated based on deliverables completed and hours invested. The client will be billed for all work completed up to the point of cancellation.
No refund will be issued after a project milestone has been delivered, approved, or accepted — whether explicitly or implicitly (through continued engagement).
No refund after substantial work: Once substantial development work has been completed — as determined by code written, designs produced, infrastructure configured, or time invested — no refund will be issued regardless of the project stage. “Substantial work” is defined as any work exceeding 20% of the total project scope.
04.Refund Processing & Payment Gateway
Where a refund is approved under the exceptions outlined in this policy:
- Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
- Refund processing times are 5–10 business days from the date of approval. Timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Any transaction fees, gateway charges, or currency conversion costs incurred during the original payment may be deducted from the refund amount.
- Refunds are processed in Indian Rupees (INR). Exchange rate fluctuations for international transactions are not the responsibility of Ecliptz Labs Private Limited.
Third-Party Payment Gateways: Payments processed via third-party gateways (such as Cashfree) are subject to those providers' terms and processing timelines. Ecliptz Labs Private Limited is not responsible for delays caused by payment gateway providers, issuing banks, or intermediary financial institutions.
05.Fraud & Abuse Policy
Ecliptz Labs Private Limited reserves the absolute right to deny any refund request where we have reasonable grounds to suspect:
- Fraudulent activity, chargebacks, or misrepresentation of facts
- Abuse of our refund policy through repeated or pattern-based claims
- Violation of our Terms & Conditions or misuse of our services or products
- Unauthorized use, resale, or redistribution of delivered software or assets
- Attempts to obtain refunds after consuming full benefits of the product or service
Any suspected fraud will be reported to the relevant authorities and may result in legal action under applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.
06.How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted through our official contact channel only. Requests made through unofficial channels (such as social media or third-party platforms) will not be entertained.
When submitting a refund request, please include:
- Your full name and contact details
- Order ID, invoice number, or transaction reference
- Date and amount of the transaction
- Reason for the refund request with supporting evidence (screenshots, error logs, etc.)

07.Policy Updates
Ecliptz Labs Private Limited reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued engagement with our services after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
